The cold, weekend weather called for heavy coats, boots and lots of 
layers.

Gloomy weather doesn’t mean your clothing has to be drab.   I love a 
colorful coat with whimsical, girly details like this one.

My fave way to turn an outfit more exciting?  Duh, add an accessory! 
A print scarf can add extra appeal to any outfit.  (I call this one my 
Missoni look-alike.

A small word of advice: don’t take fashion too seriously- play with your 
wardrobe until you feel great about what you’re wearing, and remember: 
the statement you make is all your own, so own it!
